Tomorrow We Inherit the Earth: آغاز or Prologue 1099 is an investigation into histories of popular resistance, guerrilla warfare and anti-imperialism in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia that are then re-interpreted into an archive of an imagined revolution in a post-utopian and post-human world.

The first in series of pseudo documentaries, utilizing animation and archival footage to build a narrative around a fictitious revolution the world has not yet seen while performances interact and play off of these videos.

Here, former drag queen and current zombie, Faluda Islam speaks about the future revolution, the movement, the intifada that she has experienced and the world is yet to witness. She does this over a barrage of archival footage, taking the audience through the places impacted by this global shift in consciousness. The revolution has always been.
