Sonal Shah is the founding President of The Asian American Foundation (TAAF.) One of the foremost global leaders on social impact and innovation, Shah has started and led social impact efforts in academia, government, and the private and philanthropic sectors for over 25 years.

Julia Liou, MPH, is the incoming CEO of Asian Health Services, where she has served in various roles since 2000. Ms. Liou has spearheaded key initiatives at AHS and in the Oakland Chinatown and Asian Community.

Jose Antonio Vargas is a Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist, Emmy-nominated filmmaker, and Tony-nominated producer. A leading voice for the human rights of immigrants, he founded the nonprofit media advocacy organization Define American, named one of the “World’s Most Innovative Companies” by Fast Company.

Christine Wong Yap (she/they) is a visual artist and social practitioner working in community engagement, drawing, printmaking, publishing, and public art. She partners with organizations to conduct participatory research projects to explore dimensions of psychological well-being such as belonging, resilience, interdependence, and collaboration.
